Australia’s national carbon footprint is dominated by emissions from energy. The transition to a national and global economy powered by clean and renewable energy is happening right now and Carbon House is passionate about being a part of it.

Large-scale project facilitation
The development of large-scale renewable energy projects is booming across the world. Australia is blessed with an abundance of natural assets making it ideal for a range of renewable energy technologies. Carbon House recognises this and is passionate about the facilitation and development of these projects. Utilising our extensive network of relationships with rural and indigenous landholders, we undertake pre-feasibility studies to determine the likely potential for renewable energy projects across Australia as well as in countries throughout the world. We partner with large-scale renewable energy developers in order to create innovative wind, solar and biomass projects that are ecologically sustainable and that also create strong social and economic outcomes for local communities. We also specialise in matching business clients with renewable energy ‘stories’ through the brokerage of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).

Small-scale project development
The renewable energy industry is undergoing rapid technological advancement, particularly in the small-scale sector. This is creating significant opportunities for businesses and organisations to generate their own renewable energy on-site using technologies such as solar, wind, biogas, micro-hydro and biomass generators. Carbon House works with businesses and other organisations to determine the potential for on-site energy generation, undertake feasibility studies, project manage the delivery of renewable energy solutions and to document and track ongoing environmental and economic performance.

Renewably powered sustainable development
Access to reliable electricity is a major issue facing the developing world. Carbon House recognises the opportunities that are opened up to communities in developing countries by overcoming this barrier and we are actively involved in this area. We seek to establish partnerships with corporations and non-government organisations that have an interest in achieving these goals to develop projects that provide clean and renewable energy to communities. This is achieved through the use of solar, wind, biomass and micro-hydro technologies. We also assist in the development of innovative initiatives to provide ongoing funding for these sustainable development projects including the use of carbon credits.
