NGER Act Compliance
The National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Act
has been established by the Federal Government as a national framework
for reporting by greenhouse gas and energy intensive corporations. The
NGER Act sets thresholds to determine whether or not a corporation or a
facility owned by a corporation needs to report its annual energy usage
and greenhouse gas emissions. Understanding when and what a corporation
needs to report can be a highly complex issue and steep penalties apply
for non-compliance. Carbon House is able to advice businesses on their
reporting requirements, develop a NGER Act compliant greenhouse gas
inventory and to assist with the reporting process.
